Davis Y. Ja & Associates expertise lies in our focus on culturally competent and empowerment evaluation that insures an accurate measurement of treatment and prevention effects. We are known for our strong community-based orientation. We believe that it is critical to culturally tailor measurement tools in order to achieve meaningful evaluations, particularly with diverse populations.
 
We conduct participatory action research, and one of the major components is our empowerment approach. In this way, we conduct evaluations which leave organizations stronger and with greater evaluation infrastructure than before our involvement. We emphasize collaboration and partnership with our clients in order to conduct the best possible evaluations and to best empower them and their communities to become healthier and more independent.
 
We are also committed to developing clear logic models and help organizations build a theory of change in our evaluations. We develop a pictorial model of the intervention and its relationship to specific outcomes and time parameters that allows us to tailor our measurement tools to the outcomes for highly accurate and specific results.
